OBJECTIVES
A two day international Capacity-Building Workshop for umbrella organizations was held in Varna, Bulgaria on 21 and 22 of February.
The workshop aimed to enhance umbrella organizations` capacity to support their members and interested hospitality enterprises with the necessary information and assistance in adopting the sustainable approach into their activities.
The workshop topics, therefore, covered a wide range from the sustainability spectrum – accessible and responsible tourism, development of tourist destinations, digitalization and new software solutions for sustainable management of hotel and restaurants, etc.
Lecturers of the event were top-researchers and HEI trainers in the field of Management, Marketing and Tourism; professionals from regional umbrella organizations and business entrepreneurs and innovators.
More than 70 professionals and practitioners from hospitality clusters and associations, branch and umbrella organizations from Albania, Bulgaria, Greece and North Macedonia attended the event while other more than 100 decided to follow its on-line live streaming.
