A two day international Capacity-Building Workshop for will be held on 21st of February. The event will take place in Varna, Bulgaria but will bring together about professionals and practitioners from the Balkan-Med countries.
The workshop aims to enhance umbrella organizations` capacity to support their members and interested hospitality enterprises with the necessary information and assistance in adopting the sustainable approach into their activities. The workshop topics, therefore, cover a wide range from the sustainability spectrum – accessible and responsible tourism, development of tourist destinations, digitalization and new software solutions for sustainable management of hotel and restaurants, etc.
The event participants will have the opportunity to gain new knowledge and to raise their own awareness for the sector`s innovations but also to exchange experience and sustainable approaches with their colleagues from Albania, Bulgaria, Greece and North Macedonia.
For the interested stakeholders which are not able to attend, the workshop will be live streamed during both days.
The event is organized by the Culinary Arts and Hospitality Association in collaboration with Varna University of Management and is part of the project “Entrepreneurial Learning Exchange Initiative for Sustainable Hospitality SMEs in the Balkan-Mediterranean Region ” (HELIX).
